HSBC NYAA Awards

 

The Prize Presentation ceremony of the HSBC/NYAA Youth Environmental Awards was held on 17th April 2015 at the Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park Promenade.

 

Two RP DENV students received the HSBC/NYAA Youth Environmental Award as Winner and Merit Award recipient. RP student Nurul Huda who emerged Winner and Jason Ooi as a Merit award recipient were presented with their prizes by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan.

 

Nurul Huda received a citation plaque, book vouchers worth $500 and a fully sponsored overseas research trip to Acadia National Park in the States. Jason received a citation plaque and book vouchers worth $300.

 

The HSBC/NYAA award is presented to recognise youths for their commitment and contribution to environment conservation in Singapore. The Award is a collaboration between NYAA and HSBC to motivate and empower our youths to take interest and ownership in caring for our environment and community. The Award is presented by HSBC as part of its youth excellence initiative which is designed to nurture and enable young talents and leaders to serve and contribute towards building a more sustainable community.
